High school and first year’s university students, get ready to participate in this gymkhana – scientific parkour, with the aim of awakening your curiosity and interest around Circular Economy and social and civic skills.
Participants will have to solve three different challenges using research questions on the topics in collaboration with experts – researchers. This experience will help them become familiar with science and technology and, overall, learn the relationship between STEM and the challenges faced by societies today.
The gymkhana will be carried out in English and will take place online simultaneously in Madrid, Istanbul, and Bucharest within the context of EELISA. The host universities will be Universidad Politécnica of Madrid, Istanbul Technical University and the Universitatea Politehnica din București.
When: Friday, September 24, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. (CET).
Total time: 2,5 hours.
Capacity: 90 people (organized by teams): 15 teams of 6 people.

Participants will be accepted on a first-come-first-served basis. However, if you miss this activity, don’t worry, you will be invited to join the Science Night in November!
Structure & Challenges:
The different challenges will be consecutive activities, with a limited time for each of them. Around 30-35 minutes as maximum to solve the problem, and some last minutes to present and explain the proposal.

Diploma:
A Diploma/ Certificate will be given to all the participants, with the recognition of the three organizing universities.
