You may follow one of the options listed below to pay your residence permit card fee:
o Visit the website of the Revenue Administration for tax payments and make the payment online:
To be able to pay online, you should have a credit card with an activated internet and/or international transactions feature. (Foreign cards are also valid.)

After completing the procedure, make sure that you print the payment receipt in two copies!
o Visit one of the tax offices in Istanbul and make the payment in-person: After completing the Short Term Residence Permit Application Form, you can visit one of the tax offices in Istanbul.
Required documents are:
- Your Tax ID number (for those who don’t have a Foreigner ID yet.)
- Residence Permit Application Form
- Passport

o Online payment through the web page of Directorate General of Migration Management (goc.gov.tr):
As soon as you complete and print your short term residence permit application form, a screen with “Make Payment” button will appear. This button remains active for 15 days on the e-residence web site.

o Visit one of the Vakıfbank, Ziraat Bank, or Halkbank branches and pay in-person at the bank office:
If you do not have a credit card, or your credit card is not open for international transactions, or if the system fails, then you can pay the card fee via one of the banks listed above with 9207- tax reference code (9207-İKAMET TEZKERESİ DEFTER SATIŞ BEDELİ).
You may prefer Vakıfbank for convenience reasons as it is located on the Ayazağa Campus.
Required documents are:
- Your Tax ID number (for those who don’t have a Foreigner ID yet.)
- Residence Permit Application Form
- Passport
Make sure that the payment receipt is stamped/sealed by the bank. If not, please ask for a stamp.
Only original copy of the bank payment receipts are accepted by Migration Management Office.
